/ʃ/ là một phụ õm vụ thanh. Để phỏt õm õm này, đưa lưỡi về 
hướng hàm răng, khụng chạm vào răng, khụng chạm vào 
răng đồng thời thổi hơi giữa lưỡi và 2 hàm răng, cổ họng 
khụng rung. Âm này được sử dụng như khi bạn bảo người 
khỏc yờn lặng (Sh!)
