  “And” and “or” for positive and negative statements 
 We use and to join two or more nouns in a positive sentence. We use or to join two or more 
 nouns in a negative sentence.

 Ex: make - making 
 after consonant+vowel+consonant of one-syllable verbs: double the final consonant 
 and add –ing.
