Động từ cú nhiều hơn 1 õm tiết, õm tiết cuối cựng kết thỳc bằng phụ prefer preferred
õm + nguyờn õm + phụ õm và là õm tiết nhận trọng õm gấp đụi phụ 
õm cuối + ed.
Cũn lại ed kick kicked
Ngoài ra, 1 số động từ bất quy tắc khụng thờm đuụi ed mà biến đổi have had
thành P1.

- Xột 1 hoặc 2 chữ cỏi trước chữ -ed ở cuối động từ.

 Yesterday (hụm qua)

 In + năm quỏ khứ (in 1990)

*Luu ý; Một số động từ CẢM GIÁC khụng dựng với thỡ tiếp diễn: like, dislike, hate, love, want, prefer, 
admire, believe, understand, remember, forget, know, belong, have, taste, smell, be... nhưng nếu 
mang nghĩa chỉ hoạt động thỡ được chia ở thỡ tiếp diễn.
