 + ee: 2 chữ e đi liền nhau được phát âm là /i:/

 + ei: trong một số trường hợp
 Ví dụ: receive, ceiling, receipt
 + ie: "ie" thường được phát âm là /i:/ khi đứng trước "f" hoặc "ve"
 Ví dụ: chief, belief, relief, believe

 - /t/ : mountain, waterfall, desert, plaster
 - /d/: wonder, island, guide, holiday
 VI/ Unit 6: Phát âm: /s/ và /ʃ/

 I . THE SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE: Thì hiện tại đơn
 + Thì hiện tại đơn dùng để diễn tả: Thói quen; Hành động lặp đi lặp lại; Chân lý, sự thật hiển nhiên
 + Thường có các trạng từ đi kèm như : 
 - EVERY + time: every day , every morning , every month
 - Always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom/hardly ever/rarely, never
 - Once a week/month
 - Twice a week/month; Three times a week/month
 - In the spring, summer, autumn, winter

 CÔNG THỨC:
 To be (am/is/are) Verb (Động từ thường)
Khẳng định S + am/is/are + Danh từ/ Tính từ a) S + Vo (Chủ ngữ: I, we, you, they, số nhiều)
 b) S + Vs (Chủ ngữ: He, She, It, số ít)
 + Ves (Chủ ngữ: he,she, it, số ít nhưng động từ 
 tận cùng là O, Ch, S, X,Sh (Ông chin sài xe sh)
 Phủ định S + am / is/ are + not + Danh từ/ Tính từ S + don’t + Vo (Chủ ngữ: I, we, you, they, số nhiều)
 S + doesn’t + Vo (Chủ ngữ: He, She, It, số ít)
 Nghi vấn Am/ Is/ Are + S + Danh từ/ Tính từ..? Do + S + Vo(Chủ ngữ: I, we, you, they, số nhiều)

- Chúng ta sử dụng ‘s sau một danh từ số ít.
Ví dụ: This is my mum’s book. (Đây là quyển sách của mẹ tôi.)
- Chỉ thêm dấu phẩy, không thêm s đối với danh từ là số nhiều có s
 Ví dụ: Books’ cover (Bìa của những quyển sách).
- Khi muốn nói nhiều người cùng sở hữu một vật hay nói cách khác là có nhiều danh từ sở hữu thì ta chỉ 
thêm kí hiệu sở hữu vào danh từ cuối.
 Ví dụ: Lan and Hoa’s glasses are so expensive. (Kính của Lan và Hoa rất đắt.)
II.. Prepositions of place (Giới từ chỉ nơi chốn)
- Giới từ chỉ nơi chốn mô tả người hoặc vật đang ở đâu.
- Sau đây là một số giới từ chỉ nơi chốn.
+ in: trong
+ on: trên
+ behind: phía sau
+ under: bên dưới
+ next to: bên cạnh
+ in front of: phía trước
+ between: giữa
+ opposite : đối diện

I/. THE PRESENT CONTINOUS TENSE: Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn
Diễn tả: 
 - Một hành động, một sự việc đang xảy ra lúc ta nói . 
 - Kế hoạch lập sẵn trong tương lai
Thường có các trạng từ đi kèm như: Now; right now ; at present; at the moment , at this 
time

 Khẳng định S + am / is / are + V-ing . 
 Phủ định S + am / is/ are + not + V-ing .

 - Danh từ đếm được dùng để chỉ những người và vật mà chúng ta có thể đếm được bằng cách sử dụng 
số. Danh từ đếm được có thể ở số ít hoặc số nhiều:..
+ N số ít dung a/ an ; N số nhiều thếm s ,es
Ví dụ: - Singular: a rock, an island , a pen ..., 
 - Plural: rocks, islands , pens...
- Danh từ không đếm được dùng để chỉ những thứ mà chúng ta không thể đếm được bằng số. Chúng 
thường không có dạng số nhiều: cream, chocolate , water, rice...
 + Nó không dùng được với mạo từ a (an).
II/ Các sử dụng a/ an/ some/ any: 
 • a/ an + danh từ đếm được, số ít 
 ( an dùng cho danh từ đứng đầu là nguyên âm ( u,e,a,o,i) ( uể oải)
 • Some, any: một ít, một vài
 - some + danh từ không đếm được/ danh từ số nhiều: thường dùng trong câu khẳng định
 - any + danh từ không đếm được/ danh từ số nhiều: dùng trong câu phủ định hoặc nghi vấn
III/ Cách sử dụng a few/ a little/ many/ much /
- a few ( một ít) + danh từ số nhiều
- little/ a little (một chút) + danh từ không đếm được
- many (nhiều) + danh từ số nhiều: 
- much (nhiều) + danh từ không đếm được: 
IV/ Modal verb: ( động từ khuyết thiếu) must/ mustn’t 
 * Must: Dùng để nói rằng một cái gì đó là rất cần thiết hoặc rất quan trọng để làm
 * Mustn’t: Không được phép làm điều gì
 - must : phải
 - mustn’t : không được
* Form: S + must/ mustn’t + Vo
