 Activity 2: Presentation:
 -Content 1.Look, listen and repeat
 a.Teaching vocabulary:
 + tiger
 + horse I 
 + monkey 
 + peacock
 b. Set the sence:
 + Show the picture a and elicit the answer of who the characters are.
 + Explain what happens in the picture. (Mai are at the zoo).
 + Have Ss repeat the text in the bubbles a few times.
 + Repeat the procedure with the picture b.
 + Do choral & individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking.
 + Play the tape for Ss to listen & say along.
 + Write the pattern on the board

 Activity 3: Practice
 -Content 2: Point and say - Procedure:
 + Elicit the names of the characters & what each one says. 
 + Fill the bubbles & write the sentences on the board.
 + Get Ss to repeat the text a few times.
 + Have Ss practice in groups & pairs.

 + Call a few pairs to act out to practise asking and answering the questions in front of the class 
  Consolidation:
 - Content: Review vocabulary and form.

 What have you learnt from the lesson today?

 about what a zoo animal is doing
 - Ss can develop some following competences:

 -Work individually, pairwork, groupwork + point at Picture a and elicit the name of the animal (e.g. elephant). Have them look at the question 
in the first bubble, listen to the recording and repeat it a few times. 
 + Then have them look at the gapped answer It's ___. and fill the gap with the ing form of the verb 
under the picture (e.g. dancing), listen to the recording and say the complete answer a few times.
 + Give pupils a time limit to practise asking asking and answering the questions, using the ing form of 
the verbs under the pictures as cues.
 + Have Ss practice in pairs. Check as a class. 
 Activity 4: Production
 -Content 3: Let’s talk
 - Procedure:
 + Get them to point at the monkey and ask What is the monkey doing? Then have them complete 
the exchange by saying: It's swinging. Ask one pair of pupils to role-play the exchange in front of the class. 
 + Give the pupils time to practise asking and answering the questions in pairs or groups
 + Call a few pairs to act out in front of the class.

 Activity 1: Warm up 
 Invite one or two groups of pupils to the front of the class and sing the song At the zoo. The class may 
sing along and do actions or clap. - Procedure:
 + Have Ss look at the picture & identify the animal.
 + Teach the new vocabulary.
 + Use poster with the chant on it. 
 + Tell Ss that they are going to chant.
 + Play the recording for Ss to listen while T point to the lines.
 + Play the recording again for Ss to repeat.
 + Model the gestures.
 + Play the music for Ss to recite and do the gestures.
 + Have Ss practice in groups.
 + Call on some volunteers to recite the chant.
  Consolidation:
