 Subject: English Week: 08 Periods: 1 (35

I. LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. Language knowledge and skills
Recognise and say ride a bike, ride a horse, play the piano and play the guitar, retaining a/the in each
phrase.
Understand the short exchanges about Mary, Mai and Minh; ask Can you ? and answer Yes, I can. /
No, I can't.
Ask a partner about two abilities, listen to the answer and report one's own choice with I can / I
can't .
2. Competences
Match action pictures to complete phrases, take both roles in a conversation and use feedback to
improve a sentence without letting a tool decide a person's abilities.
3. Personal qualities
Respect different abilities and truthful answers. Praise willingness to practise rather than treating a No
answer as failure.
4. Integrated learning
[CB2.6.2] Interact with a basic AI language-learning tool under the teacher's supervision to
practise I can . Follow the prepared question sequence, enter a short answer and check
feedback against the pupil's intended meaning. PPCT 6.2.Cb2b applies to periods 29–32.
[4.A1.2] AI can offer language practice, but pupils retain their own answers and the teacher
checks meaning. A prepared wrong response is corrected using the role card.
II. TEACHING AND LEARNING MATERIALS
Textbook p. 34; Teacher's Book pp. 68–70; board and four action cards. Tracks 46–47 if available;
complete scripts and teacher-read alternative are printed below.
Use a small paper kite and a skipping-rope gesture to clarify the dialogue; no actual riding, rope
jumping or instrument skill test is needed. All practice cards and the later survey frame are printed in
this plan.
For the short digital practice, use an existing, school-approved AI English-practice tool that accepts
short typed prompts and replies. Before class, test the exact prompt below in the teacher's session; keep
personal details out of the input and keep its display ready. Pupils need no personal account. If no
suitable tool is available or it replies outside the taught language, immediately use the printed
exchange and mark AI interaction as not observed. Do not substitute an ordinary slideshow and call it
AI.
